Kirkwood School District Board of Education Approves Hire of New Assistant Principal of Robinson Elementary School

At the regularly scheduled Kirkwood School District Board of Education meeting on Monday, May 15, the board approved the recommendation for the hire of Jennifer Bordenkircher as the Assistant Principal of Robinson Elementary effective July 1, 2023. Jennifer Bordenkircher will succeed JaNae' Alfred, who is leaving Robinson Elementary School after this year.

Bordenkircher has been an educator for 16 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Social Work from Saint Joseph’s College, Masters of Science in Elementary Education from Quincy University, Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and Specialist in Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University, and is working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Maryville University. In addition to her classroom experience, Miss Bordenkircher has experience as a literacy coach, interventionist, and curriculum writer. For the last three years, she has been a 5th grade teacher at Keysor Elementary.

The selection of Bordenkircher was made based on feedback from a committee that included teachers, administrators, and families.

“I look forward to welcoming Jennifer Bordenkircher to Robinson, and I am confident she will be a great addition to our school community,” said Dr. Angeline O’Neal Hogrefe, principal at Robinson Elementary School. “We are excited for our students, staff and families to welcome her.”
