KSDF Named Award Scholarship Applications are Now Open
The Kirkwood School District Foundation (KSDF) announced applications are now open for the Annual Named Awards Scholarships. The Named Awards Scholarship program was created in memory or in honor of students, family, and friends of the community. The scholarships are made possible because of the generous support of our donors, especially our donor families, Kirkwood parents, staff and alumni. In 2018, KSDF presented Kirkwood High School students with scholarships and awards totaling more than $53,000.
To apply, individuals must complete an online application on the KSDF website. Once the application process closed, the KSDF Named Awards Committee reviewed all applications to determine which students to interview. In March 2018, the committee conducted interviews and selected the scholarship recipients.
KSDF was established in 1989. It is a public, not-for-profit organization with a mission of providing funding for educational programs and major projects that enhance our children's education that cannot be met with conventional funding sources.
