Five Residents File for Three Positions on Kirkwood Board of Education
Five residents of the Kirkwood School District filed as candidates for the three positions open on the Kirkwood Board of Education. Each candidate filed by the January 21, 2020 closing date. The school board election will be held on April 7, 2020.
In the order of their filing, the school board candidates are:
Chad Kavanaugh (Incumbent)
Jennifer Pangborn (Incumbent)
Julie Backer (Incumbent)
School board members serve for three years. Community members are invited to attend a school board candidate forum, moderated by the League of Women Voters, on Monday, March 2, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at the Keating Theatre on the campus of Kirkwood High School, 801 West Essex.
