Their movie was announced as an “Official Section” as part of the 2021 All American High School Film Festival and shown at the festival in New York City, October 8-10, 2021.
The movie was written and produced by KHS students Kyra Goudsmit (junior), Mackenzie Klein (senior), Lucy Schene (senior), Ryan Zickel (senior), Ethan Pokress (junior), and Spencer Jones (junior) as part of the KHS film festival. Mackenzie and Kyra wrote the script through zoom meetings, Ryan acted, Lucy, Mackenzie, and Kyra both directed and acted, and Ethan and Spencer provided technical support with Spencer using his talents both in front of and behind the camera.
