Update: Robinson Elementary School Extends Online Learning Through November 23
After careful consideration, KSD extended online learning for all Robinson Elementary School students until Monday, November 23. This decision is based on additional information we received today regarding instructional staff quarantines, which increases the percentage of instructional staff in quarantine to 31 percent.
Families within Robinson Elementary School received details related to the structure of the online learning days for students. This decision does not impact other schools within the Kirkwood School District.
“In every decision we make, we consider not only the safety of our students and staff members but also the instructional and social and emotional impact on our school community,” said Ulrich. “We must continue to be diligent in following the guidelines set forth by the CDC and local health departments, both in and out of school: wear a mask, physical distance whenever possible and wash or sanitize hands frequently.”
