NKMS Students Sell Honey and Donate Proceeds to Kirkcare
Students in the “Great Outdoor” class and the “Beehives” club at North Kirkwood Middle School have led beekeeping responsibilities, including harvesting honey from the school’s three hives.
Student and teacher volunteers have harvested the honey since this summer. The students then jarred the honey which was for sale at the Kirkwood Imo’s and within NKMS school office.
The totals from the sales are in. The students decided to donate the $250 in proceeds to Kirkcare.
