This morning, Kirkwood School District administration celebrated key volunteers in honor of National Volunteer Week.
National Volunteer Week is an opportunity for school
Districts to shine a light on the important work that volunteers do every day for our schools and students.
From donating time to assisting with classroom and school activities, parent volunteers play an important role in schools. Research shows that when families, schools and communities are engaged in the education of the children in their community, student achievement soars.
“We want to recognize and celebrate you,” said Dr. Michele Condon, KSD superintendent. “You truly help us have an impact on our kids!”
