In an ongoing effort to simplify the pre-participation process for our students, parents, and coaches, the athletic office is implementing an automated paperless document collection source called Privit for the 2019-20 school year. The cumbersome process of collecting physicals and parent permission forms in our office will no longer be necessary. After you have completed your Privit profile and uploaded the physical, students will still need to pick up a practice card for the fall season during the week of July 29-August 2 8:00am-2:00pm prior to the first practice on August 12th.
In addition, the member schools of MSHSAA voted in favor of allowing physicals, used for athletic participation, to be good for 2 years. This will have the greatest impact on the coming 2019-20 school year. IF YOU HAVE A PHYSICAL ON FILE THAT IS GOOD NEXT YEAR-PLEASE STOP BY THE ATHLETIC OFFICE TO PICK UP YOUR PHYSICAL SO YOU CAN UPLOAD YOUR CURRENT PHYSICAL TO YOUR PRIVIT PROFILE PRIOR TO PICKING UP A PRACTICE CARD.
If your physical is dated on or after July 1, 2019 then it will be good through the 2020-21 school year as well(expires June 30, 2021).
The move to Privit will allow us to collect and store necessary information online in a secure environment and reduce the amount of time our families will need to spend filling out forms each year.
In Privit, you will create your account, and follow the steps to add your student or students to the account, complete all sections, upload the physical, and join appropriate teams. The good news is that your account will only need to be updated with changes from year to year, not recreated.
