KSD eSpotlight Archive
The final day of school will be Thursday, May 22, and this will be our last regular eSpotlight message of the 2024–25 school year. We want to recognize a year marked by academic growth, community collaboration, and meaningful progress across all schools. We look forward to seeing students and families who will access programming at our schools during the summer months, and hope that, whatever your plans are, you have a great summer.
Our KHS graduating seniors were honored with heartwarming senior clapouts as they walked the halls of their former schools—early childhood, elementary, and middle schools.
You could see the excitement and awe in the younger students’ eyes as they cheered, clapped, and high-fived the seniors. It reminded us all that every step matters on the journey to success.
To the Class of 2025—whether you began your journey in Kirkwood as a KECC Kangaroo or joined us just this year—thank you for being part of our Kirkwood School District family. Your hard work, spirit, and leadership have left a lasting mark.
Come cheer on our graduating seniors as they cruise through town in their decorated vehicles!
The Kirkwood School District Board of Education held their annual reorganization vote on April 14 to elect the officers of the Kirkwood School District Board of Education, and the oath of office was administered to newly elected board members Judy Moticka and Lisa Nieman.
