KSDF Fundraising Policy

KSDF Fundraising & Administrative Fee Program

The Kirkwood School District Foundation (KSDF) works to build a stronger community by raising private funds to enrich the educational experiences for all students in the Kirkwood School District.

Beginning July 1, 2024, Kirkwood School District Foundation (KSDF) will begin implementing the following fees to help defray the administrative costs that KSDF incurs when it procures a private, restricted donation.

  • A one-time 5% fee on all private, restricted gifts
  • A one-time 5% fee on all funds received as a part of a planned gift
  • An annual 2% management fee on all endowed funds, with a minimum annual fee of $100.

This fee policy does not affect the amount that the donor can deduct for tax purposes. The program does not allow for an administrative fee for unrestricted donations received from fundraising events, annual fund, or online giving.
