40th Reunion: 09/13/25
The KHS Class of 1985 had a wonderful 40th reunion on Saturday, 09/13/25. We even enjoyed part of the evening visiting with fellow graduates from the 1980s.
Karen Flaschar Memorial Fund
This fund honors the memory of Karen “Flasch” Flaschar, beloved former KHS Choir Director at Kirkwood High School.
From 1978 to 2005, Karen poured her heart into teaching A Cappella, Swing Choir and Chamber Choir, inspiring a lifelong love of choral music in her students. She was not only a gifted teacher, but also a gentle guide who encouraged her students to grow into their best selves—with kindness, compassion, and joy.
Gifts made in Karen’s honor will help create a memorial bench, to be placed near the Performing Arts area on the KHS campus—a place where her spirit of music, love, and community will continue to be felt.
