Summer Learning

We are pleased to offer a number of summer options in 2026, with in-person and online learning available to current K-12 students.

• Kirkwood will offer Summer Learning options at the elementary and  middle school level, providing students with a variety of supports.
• High school students will have on-campus options for credit recovery and limited credit enhancement choices online.
• In-person Extended School Year will be offered to qualifying students through Special School District.
• All Kirkwood students (K-12) can enroll in enrichment, extension, and/or credit enhancement courses through LAUNCH, a virtual course access provider based in Springfield Public Schools.  
• Three sessions of Summer Adventure will be offered to students who will be entering grades 1-6 in the fall.
