• Because online learning will continue through the end of our school year, we must plan accordingly to support students now AND prepare them, as best we can, for returning to school in the fall.  We have partnered with teachers, principals, and curriculum facilitators to identify a limited subset of essential skills for each grade level, predominantly in literacy, math, science, and social studies.  Many of the identified focus skills have been taught previously and will be strengthened through additional instruction and opportunities for practice.

  • We will focus the bulk of our instructional time and energy on these skills through the end of the year, differentiating when possible to support student needs.  Given our focus on social-emotional wellness, we will also tend to students’ awareness of their emotions and support their work to self-advocate and self-regulate, when appropriate.
