Our amazing PTO group has been hard at work planning our largest fundraiser of the year for the past several months! They have asked that the following information below relative to the upcoming event be shared with each of you. We hope to see you there!
Aloha! Trivia Night and Silent Auction is coming soon: Friday, March 1st. Our theme is Hawaiian Luau, so dust off your muumuus and grass skirts! Doors open at 6:30, trivia begins at 7:30p.
Registration can be done using the form left in your child’s cubby OR you can register online.
Tickets are available for a full table of 8 for $200, Couple Tickets for $50, or Single Tickets for $25. Mulligans can also be purchased in advance with your online ticket purchase. 4 mulligans for $20 or 8 mulligans for $40
ALSO NEW this year: You can donate to give a teacher a seat at trivia night. Your $25 donation, given immediately before online check out, will give a seat to one of our amazing teachers. (Donations cannot be designated to a particular teacher. Sorry!)
We are still accepting DONATIONS and SIGN UP PARTY HOSTS. We’re in need of silent auction donations including Cardinals and Blues Tickets, birthday parties, gift cards, hotel stays, family experiences, etc. Please drop your donation at the school office or contact Joyce Long at email@example.com to arrange pick up of your donation.
If you’d just like to donate funds to KECC, you can also donate on the Trivia Night site.
We are also looking for Sign Up Party Hosts. Sign up parties are community parties where a set number of guests sign up for a set price to attend. Sign up parties will be first on sale on at trivia night, then available through the trivia night website after trivia night concludes. If you would be interested in hosting an in-school or in-home party please reach out to Katie D’Agostino or Megan Hegger.
This event is to raise funds for our amazing preschool, but more importantly, it is to build KECC OHANA! Grab another classroom parent and keep building our amazing KECC family and community. Make sure that no KECC family gets left behind or forgotten!

The Kirkwood School District is partnering with Blackboard to build district and school websites that will provide a responsive and engaging web experience for visitors across every device. “We are looking forward to improving our electronic communication with parents and community members,” said Dr. Michele Condon, superintendent of schools.
Blackboard Web Community Manager is a website and content management system that provides the tools and capabilities to build a website that will serve as a communications hub, engaging all members of the community via continually updated website content, blogs, forms and surveys, social media and other tools. Kirkwood School District will also use responsive web design (RWD) services to ensure its website can be easily read and navigated on a wide range of devices, from desktops to mobile phones and tablets.
The District will continue to use the Blackboard Mobile Communications App for iPhones and Android phones and allows staff to update the website and produce notifications directly from smartphones. The app is available for parents and other community members to download for quick mobile access to district information without having to navigate the website.
