    Finalizing the College Choice

    • Visit campuses
    • Evaluate in terms of financial aid/ merit aid packages
    • Notify all schools by May 1st regarding your decision to attend or not attend
    • Pay attention to housing/ orientation deadlines

    End of the Year Procedures

    • Mid-Year/Final Report
      • Required by many selective colleges or universities
    • Senior Survey
      • Online Link Available in April--Required for release of final transcript
    • AP Exams
      • May 6th – May 17th
      • Scores are usually available in July

    A+ Scholarship

    • Algebra I End of Course Exam high school eligibility requirement
      • Score proficient or advanced on the official Algebra I EOC Exam or ACT equivalency
      • May be taken more than once
    • Have at least a 95% attendance record overall for grades 9-12 
    • Have maintained a record of good citizenship and avoidance of the unlawful use of drugs and or alcohol
    • Graduate with a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Have performed 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring. Up to 25% may be job shadowing.
    • A+ students MUST complete the 2019 FAFSA
    • Students have until graduation to complete all requirements.
    • Upon graduation all eligible students are certified as A+ scholarship award winners on individual transcripts.
