Dear Westchester Community,

On behalf of the entire Westchester staff, welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  

Westchester is privileged to have a caring community of parents, teachers, and staff who work together as a family to help our children realize success.  The foundation of our success starts with close ties and open communication between school and home.  Whatever we do as teachers to guide, shape, motivate, and educate children can only supplement the loving commitment, interest, and instruction you provide at home.  

While last year was full of construction courtesy of Prop R, this year we welcome new spaces for 3rd grade, REACH, SSD and a brand new Library. Other improvements include updating several other classrooms and an expansion of the Cafe. 

This school year promises to be better than the last as we continuously strive to provide a for the academic, social and emotional growth of each one of our students at Westchester Elementary.  In collaboration with parents and community members, we will prepare students for the challenges of being a productive citizen.
