• We offer Tillman families the opportunity to pay a one-time fee of $30 per child that will cover the cost of all supplies (excluding backpack, lunchbox, and water bottle) for your child. We then order the supplies we need for classrooms in bulk. We use this system for several reasons: 

    • We enjoy being a more sustainable school, and this method eliminates waste. Teachers can order supplies as needed throughout the year, instead of trying to predict what they need in advance and then ending up with extras at the end of the year (or not having enough and then having to scramble and ask for donations during the year). 

    • This saves our Tillman families time and money. Often, families end up paying a lot more than $30 in order to get all the supplies that are on the list. 

    • As more and more teachers are moving towards “community supplies,” this will eliminate children feeling upset when what they bought is put into the class supply pool and is not theirs alone to use. In addition, teachers appreciate having matching and uniform supplies.  

    • We can order from our district suppliers and get much better quality and prices than those offered in supply kits.
