Vision/School Improvement
Vision statement:
Westchester Elementary School is a diverse learning community that promotes the social, emotional, and academic growth of all by fostering an environment of high expectations and effective communication.
School Improvement Goals for 2011-12:
Goal 1 – Student performance on the MAP tests will meet or exceed the 2011 AYP benchmarks.
Goal 2 – Data obtained from students & staff will illustrate a message of RESPECT.
Goal 3 – Data obtained from stakeholders – students, staff & parents – will demonstrate an increased commitment to establishing high expectations for all members of the learning community.
