Tillman Food Drive

TILLMAN FOOD DRIVE Tillman 5th grade students will hold our annual food drive Monday, December 1 – Wednesday, December 3. The food drive will benefit KIRKCARE, which is an organization that distributes food and food vouchers to families in need who live in the Kirkwood R-7 School District. The following items are most needed: Spam, peanut butter, spaghetti & sauce, beef stew, canned fruits, cereal, pork & beans, baked beans, rice, boxes of pasta, jelly, macaroni and cheese, canned vegetables, ravioli (canned), tuna. Paper products such as Kleenex and toilet tissue are also needed. Bring in an item from the suggested list and participate in Hat Day (12/1), Pajama Day (12/2) and Crazy Hair Day (12/3).
KSD Foundation invites Community to 12th Annual Chili Bowl Cook-Off on Nov. 26

The Kirkwood School District Foundation is hosting the 12th annual Chili Bowl Cook-Off on Wednesday, Nov. 26, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Denver Miller Gym at Kirkwood High School. Community members and families are invited to sample chili from 10 area restaurants and to vote for the “Best Chili in Town.”
Advance tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students, K-12. Children preschool and under are free. Tickets at the door are $1 more. Advance tickets are on sale in KSD school offices.
Turkey Trot
November 17, 2008
On November 18th, 2008 Tillman will participate in the Turkey trot from 2:45 pm until 3:15 Pm on the field in back of Tillman. Come celebrate with us.
