Where am I?
ROCS Steps
At Robinson we believe all children are capable of solving personal conflicts. We encourage and teach children to solve problems in a constructive and respectful manner by using the R.O.C.S. steps.
Robinson Overcomes Conflict Successfully
Cool down.
Listen and look at each other.
- No interruptions.
Take turns telling respectfully:
- What the problem is.
- How you feel.
- What you want.
Say what you can do to solve the problem.
Agree on a solution and do it.
This technique was developed by all Robinson students during the 1993-94 school year and currently being used.
