Where am I?
The HIP Room
Introducing the HIP Room…

The school year is well under way and Robinson students are working hard to make it a great year! Everywhere you look, you see examples of students following the Robinson Agreements in their classrooms, the hallways, at lunch, and out at recess. In the HIP room, we are also working very hard! The HIP room (Helping Improve Performance) is a classroom that is new to Robinson this year! The HIP room is a small, student-focused classroom designed to meet individual students needs. Students flow in and out of the HIP room each day, learning together in groups as well as individually.
I'm Kalen Brune, and as a school social worker at Robinson, I have the privilege of spending time every week in the HIP room supporting both students and their families. Other adults you may see in the HIP room are Mrs. Wilson, Ms. Hopkins, Mrs. Karcher, and Mrs. Moore. Throughout the year many students will have the opportunity to participate in special activities that take place in the HIP room. The HIP room is the hip place to be!
