Congratulations to Rachael Turken,
Robinson's 2011 Teacher of the Year
On March 3rd in an all-school assembly, Rachael Turken was surprised with the announcement that she had been chosen as the Robinson Elementary 2011 Teacher of the Year. To the tune of Aretha Franklin's "Respect", staff and students offered clues which revealed this announcement. Rachael's friends and family were invited to share in this surprise.
Rachael started her teaching career here at Robinson, first as a student teacher; she continues now in her 5th year as a first grade teacher. She was chosen by her peers for this well-deserved honor. Congratulations, Rachael!
