ROBINSON ROAD RULES

Positive Behavior  Support is a school-wide program used to promote and encourage positive behaviors by all students. At Robinson we refer to the ROBINSON ROAD RULES.

Just like actual rules of the road are there to keep drivers and pedestrians safe, the Robinson Road Rules ensure that everyone knows what is expected of them at Robinson so we can have safe, calm and productive days.

Look for visuals around school celebrating our four Road Rules:

  • I respect myself.
  • I respect others.
  • I respect learning.
  • I respect the environment.

Classrooms have conversations about what each of the Road Rules look like in different parts of the building. For instance, we show respect for others in the hallway by following the Robinson Voice Levels and we show respect for the environment in the cafeteria by leaving the table ready for the next person.

Please check in with your students about the Road Rules. Pose some questions such as:

  • Tell me what the Road Rules mean to you?
  • Why are the Road Rules important?
  • How are you learning the Road Rules?
