Lunch Menu & Lunch Programs
School Lunch Program
All students will have a lunch account. Students may deposit money in their lunch and milk account in the morning by sending money in an envelope marked with their name and room number. Check should be made payable to Kirkwood School District. Teachers will send the envelope to the office with their lunch count so that sutdents will not need to leave their classroom. Parents may bring money to the office at their convenience for deposit into a student account.
The Food Service Department has Winsnap accounting systems. This program tracks student payment and sales information for the current year. Prepayments can be made online through the District Website: www.Kirkwood.k12.mo.us. The Parent/Guardian may contact the school Cafe' Manager to obtain information regarding their student's account.
The cost of a lunch is $2.00 and the cost of milk is $0.50. With the computerized lunch program, any amount of money can be credited to a student's account. Money in this account can be used for the purpose of lunch and/or a milk. When a student's account reaches $4.00, a reminder slip will go home informing parents that it is time to deposit into the student's account.
Breakfast is served at 8:25 a.m. The cost for breakfast is $1.25.
