Student of the Week

Each week students are selected to be "Student of the Week", one or more students from each team and one or more student from the Encore and Wellness Departments. The selection is based on good citizenship. Students chosen have their pictures taken and posted on the main bulletin board. Letters are sent to their parents and students are presented with a couple of small items along with a coupon book.

Exemplary Attendance Awards

Students who are absent or tardy for any reason 1 day or less per quarter will be presented with a certificate to recognize their outstanding attendance.

Principal for the Day

The criteria for this award are those students who exhibit the qualities of cooperation, positive attitude, work ethic, a sense of humor, and independence of mind. Each team will select one student per quarter as Principal for the Day. Those students chosen will shadow Mr. Cochran from 8:00–11:30 on the day selected.

Technology Lab

Each classroom is equipped with personal computers. In addition, we have a general computer lab and a writing lab. Many classes are scheduled to use both labs during the week.
