Nipher Middle School

In a 21st century global environment, it is essential that student have an opportunity to interact with technology that allows for information gathering, collaboration, and efficient communication. Nipher Middle School continues explore ways to provide these opportunities through our purchase of technology. Currently Nipher Middle School has three computer labs that house 25 computers each. There are also five computers in the main section of the library for student research. There is also access to a variety of printing options including color printing. Additionally, each classroom has at least two computers with some classrooms having as many as 7. There are also three mobile computer labs that can be checked out and taken to the classrooms for use. There is an abundance of software to meet a variety of academic needs available for staff and students use. This software includes: word processing, spreadsheets, drawing and database capabilities; internet browsing, reading programs, math programs, and multi-media software. Nipher students and staff also have access to presentation technology including Smartboards, digital cameras, and a variety of projection hardware.
