On Wednesday, April 13th, at 8:50 a.m. KHS will be holding our annual "Academic Signing" in the Varsity Gym.
Through this program we will recognize our seniors who have been
awarded significant scholarship monies from the college or university they
plan to attend in the fall. In order to participate, students must
present their award letter outlining scholarships covering more than half
of tuition costs. Letters are due to the senior office by Friday April
1st. If you have additional questions, please contact the Senior
Office at 314.213.6100 x1307.
FINAL EXAMS
AP EXAMES ARE MAY 2-12- May 2 - Chemistry Exam (a.m.), AP Psychology Exam (p.m.)
- May 3 - AP Spanish Exam (a.m.), AP Computer Science Exam (a.m.)
- May 4 - AP Calculus Exam (a.m.)
- May 5 - AP English Lit Exam (a.m.)
- May 6 - Half Day – School dismisses at 11:25 a.m.- AP German Exam (a.m.), AP US History Exam (a.m.), AP Art Studio Exam (p.m.)
- May 9 - AP Biology Exam (a.m.), AP Music Theory Exam (a.m.), AP Physics Exam (p.m.)
- May 10 - AP U.S. Government Exam (a.m.), AP French Exam (p.m.)
- May 12 - AP World History Exam (a.m.)
SENIOR EXAMS ARE MAY 10-13: After seniors have taken an exam for a specific hour they do not need to attend that class again.
- May 10 – 1st & 2nd hour finals (drop 3/4/5) – Seniors attend all day (periods 1, 2, 6 & 7)
- May 11 – 4th & 5th hour finals (drop 6/7/1) – Seniors attend periods 3, 4 & 5*
- May 12 - 6th & 7th hour finals (drop 2/3/4) – Seniors attend periods 6 & 7*
- May 13 – 3rd hour final (drop 5/6/7) – Seniors attend period 3 only*
LAST DAY FOR SENIORS IS MAY 13!
Cap & Gown Pick-Up is May 13, after Exam 3, 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the Denver Miller Gym. Graduation Tickets (each student will receive 10 tickets, if you need more just ask at this time). After Graduation Tickets are on sale for $30 (you will NOT be able to purchase at the door).
JUNIOR SENIOR PROM IS MAY 14!
Prom is at Union Station Marriott Hotel from 8pm -12pm. After Prom Party is at Lakeside Bowling Lanes.
GRADUATION:
Baccalaureate Service is on May 27 at 7pm at Kirkwood Baptist Church.Graduation will be held on May 28 at Chaifetz Arena on the St. Louis University Campus. Graduation Rehearsal IS MANDATORY on May 28!! Be at the Chaifetz Arena at 9 a.m. Enter Gate C, follow the signs. You you there on time, we can get out quickly!
9 a.m. Graduation Rehearsal
6 p.m. Gradutes need to be in the staging area
7 p.m. Ceremony begins
10:30 p.m.-3:30 a.m. AFTER GRAD Party, the Lodge, Des Peres (tickets must be purchased in advance)
Students will receive a packet containing their final report card, diploma, and graduation picture information when they turn in their gowns a the conclusion of the graduation ceremony.
AFTER GRADUATION PARTY INFORMATION:
You may order your After Graduation Party tickets in the Senior Office. Ticket prices are $25 in 2010 and go up to $30 in 2011. There are no paper tickets or receipts to worry about. A list of confirmed attendees will be at the door. Ticket order forms may be picked up in the Senior Office. For questions about tickets, contact Kay Goding at 822-9419 or kgoding@goinet.comThe After Graduation Party is an important alcohol and drug free celebration. However, the ticket price does not begin to cover the cost of the party. We need your tax-deductible donations to help make this party happen. You may pick up a contribution form in the Senior Office and make a cash contribution or arrange to contribute goods or services. For questions regarding contributions, please contact Pam Travis at 821-8813.
