Mission Statement
Where am I?
The Mothers Club assists staff and students with volunteers and funding for social activities throughout the year. This includes high school tours for parents of incoming students, the Friendship Dance, Pizza Sales to help decorate the school for Turkey Day festivities, Hatchet Hop Dance (Sadie Hawkins-type dance) and the graduation Baccalaureate ceremony. Two of the more significant events organized by the Mothers Club are the After-Prom and After-Graduation parties. Both events, which are drug and alcohol-free are well attended and have become an important part of Pioneer history.
The Mothers Club oversees the School Store and supports KHS Cares. KHS Cares assists students, in need, with school work and supplies such as backpacks, pens, pencils, paper, etc.
The Mothers Club also sponsors two social get-togethers for its Members in the fall and winter. This is a way to meet new people and make new friends.
As always, everyone is welcome to join the Mothers Club throughout the year. The KHS “Open House”, at the beginning of the school year, is a good place to start. We particularly encourage Moms who are new to the high school to join. Volunteers are welcome in all of our supported activities, big and small. All dues go to funding the operations and activities of our organization.
Along with the PTO, the Mothers Club is a wonderful way to stay connected at your student's school.
