KHS Symphonic Orchestra sponsors “The Road to Carnegie” Car Wash on Sunday, May 31

The Kirkwood High School Symphonic Orchestra is sponsoring "The Road to Carnegie" Car Wash on Sunday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Kirkwood Animal Hospital at 11114 Manchester Rd.
Proceeds from the car wash will help support the orchestra’s four-day trip to Carnegie Hall in March 2010 as well as the string program. The KHS Symphonic Orchestra was one of three instrumental music groups in the nation selected to play at the prestigious concert.
The students are also selling "Wood to the Hall" t-shirts for $15. T-shirts can be ordered online at www.kirkwoodschools.org (click on "Road to Carnegie Hall") or by calling the Kirkwood School District Community Relations Office at 314-213-6123.
