Council of Educational Facility Planners International to Tour Walker Science Center at KHS on May 15

During its regional conference, the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI) will tour several local educational facilities the afternoon of May 15 including the Walker Science Center at Kirkwood High School, 801 W. Essex Ave. in Kirkwood.
Staff members from Dickinson Hussman Architects, the St. Louis architectural firm that designed the Walker Science Center for Kirkwood, will lead groups through the science building and discuss highlights of the design. Other educational facilities on tour list include MRH Elementary School in the Maplewood-Richmond Heights School District and the new St. Louis Community College in Wildwood.
CEFPI, an international organization comprised of educators, architects and facility planners that promote quality educational facilities, will conduct it Midwest/Great Lakes Regional Conference in St. Louis from May 15-18, 2008.
