John Dean Gallery
Where am I?
Kirkwood High School offers a variety of facets to showcase the talents of past and present students.
When parents, students, staff, and visitors walk through the campus of Kirkwood High School, they will find permanent installations, relief sculptures, and murals made by students that span over decades. Tucked in the center of the South Art Building is a serene garden courtyard that is home to outdoor sculptures, while nestled at the end of the hallway boasts a cozy gallery space known as the John J. Dean Gallery.
The John J. Dean Gallery exhibits both student and professional art work. A wall of windows offer a permanent view to those who walk down the hallway. Art includes a diverse display throughout the school year of paintings, drawings, ceramics, prints, sculptures, and photography. Exhibits are changed every 4-6 weeks.
