Chicago Art Institute

Summer Institute is designed to give students the chance to focus in a single area of art‑allowing them to explore a particular area in depth. As a result, students leave the program with well-though-out and polished work to include in their college admission portfolio. Students select one course per session and attend class from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. In addition to the rigorous pace of all-day classes, there are field trips, evening workshops, and weekend studio time.
