All Suburban Audition
Where am I?
The St. Louis All-Suburban Honor Band audition will be held November 2, 2009 at Horton Watkins HS (Ladue HS). Last year, KHS had 35 students audition with 10 KHS Band students accepted into the Honor Band. This year, our goal is to have 40 students audition for the Honor Band. Our students have had the All-State Green Booklet music since March and were tested on excerpts from the booklet last Spring. Reference recordings of specific excerpts out of the green booklet for each instrument are available upon request from Mr. Rekittke, Mr. Melsha, Mus. Friesen, and Mrs. Wiley. Please ask!!!
Students will sign up to audition and be allowed to sign up and reserve extra help / coaching sessions from any of the band directors. There will also be some help available during class time by Mrs. Friesen and Mrs. Wiley.
