Kirkwood High School Chapter 2011-2012
Become an active member of National Art Honor Society by attending meetings and participating in events. Watch KHTV and the Daily Announcements for upcoming meetings. TBA--Officer Elections will be held later in the school year!

Bring your $3 dues and actively participate with various group events for NAHS to officially be a member! Participation is based upon a point system. To be inducted, all you need is 12 points! If you are a senior and would like to purchase a NAHS tassle to wear at graduation, 20+ points will earn you that honor.

Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Room SA-2, 2:50-4pm. Youtube it with Art! Come share your favorite YouTube art movies with the group. Bring popcorn and any personal art project you are working on to Mrs. Benben's room. See you at the movies!
Tuesday -Wednesday, October 25-26, 2011 in Room SA-1, 2:50-4 pm.- Pennies for Pumpkins! Join our annual pumpkin carving party. Bring a pumpkin ready to carve! Clean it out at home and drop it off in the art room so you dont have to carry it around all day. We will carve right after school both days. Your pumpkin is a donation to NAHS for the silent auction to be held on Thursday, October 27 during Parent Teacher Conferences. Money raised will go towards gallery opening events, field trips, and supplies for NAHS. Also, bring your $3 dues for NAHS!
Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Room SA-1, 2:50-3:30 pm.- Introductory meeting to get more information. Hear about the projects and events planned already. Sign up for committees, and be a leader! If you miss the first meeting, talk to your art teacher or join the Facebook group to stay up on events and our next meeting!
