Where am I?

Eligibility: High school juniors and seniors with a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) are eligible to enroll in Advanced Credit Courses.

University of Missouri/St. Louis Advanced Credit Courses

The Advanced Credit (Dual Credit) Program in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Missouri-St. Louis provides an opportunity for high-performing high school students to take high-quality, lower-division college courses on their high school campus. Benefits for taking courses for dual credit include an advanced start on college credits, savings of travel time, reduced costs, use of campus facilities and the challenge of completing university coursework while in high school.

Class Rank - is a rating which compares your cumulative grade point average to other members of your class. Class rank is often used as a college admissions and scholarship standard. Graduation Requirements – are established by Kirkwood High School and must include state standards. Prerequiste – is a course that you must successfully complete before you can enroll in another related course. (Example: Freshman Comp. & Lit. is a prerequisite for Sophomore Comp. & Lit.) Required Elective – is a course you may select to meet a graduation requirement. (Example. You may choose to enroll in Home/Auto Maintenance or Business Exploration to meet a Practical Arts requirement). Unit of Credit – is granted upon successful completion of a course. One-half (1/2) unit of credit is earned for each class passed each semester. Students do not receive credit in courses failed.
