Where am I?

KIRKWOOD HIGH SCHOOL A+

Congratulations on becoming a part of the Missouri A+ Schools Program! This is an excellent step in your academic career. Now that you have entered into this agreement, we want to remind you of your obligations for this program. You will be contacted in the event that any of the above criteria become areas of concern.

  1. You must attend KHS or a designated A+ School for three consecutive years prior to high school graduation.
  2. You must graduate from high school with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  3. You must maintain at least a 95% cumulative attendance record for all four years of high school.
  4. You must perform a total of 50 hours of unpaid academic tutoring or mentoring of other students with the approval of the KHS A+ Schools Coordinator.
  5. You must maintain a record of good citizenship. This includes avoidance of unlawful use of drugs or alcohol.
  6. You must pass your Algebra EOC exam with Proficient or Advanced (beginning with the class of 2015).

We would like to take this opportunity to share some tutoring/mentoring opportunities that are available to you. If you are interested in any of these, please contact our office and we will assist you in making your initial contact.

High School Tutoring: Wednesdays; 3:00-4:15pm; Kirkwood HS Library

Elementary Tutoring (Robinson & North Glendale): Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays; 4:00-5:15pm; First Baptist Church of Meacham Park (Annex Building)

High School Tutoring: Thursdays; 6:30-8:00pm; First Baptist Church of Meacham Park (Annex Building)
