Breakfast/Lunch Procedures & Costs

Lunch Program: A hot entrée, grilled cheese, or cold sandwich/bagel, with a variety of side choices and food bar options will be served daily.

Breakfast Program: A breakfast entrée with a variety of side choices and milk served daily.

Kirkwood’s computerized debit program (WinSnap) provides every student with his or her own pin number and breakfast/ lunch account. Parents/guardians may make deposits into their child’s account – daily purchases will automatically subtract from the account. Milk may also be purchased in the same manner. Free and reduced lunches will also be handled using pin codes; parents/guardians can deposit the reduced lunch fees into their child’s account.

Money sent to school for a lunch/breakfast account should be given to your classroom teacher or placed in the black payment lockbox, located on the wall across from the Keysor’s Main Office. All checks should have your child’s first and last name and his or her classroom teacher in the memo section. Please put the check (made out to Kirkwood School District) in an envelope clearly labeled with your child’s name and teacher. Families can also use Kirkwood’s Online Payment option to add money to an account. Cash will be accepted in the lunch line, although we strongly urge you to use the computerized account whenever possible.

We invite you to eat with your child in the cafeteria. If you want to order a school lunch for yourself, please inform the office by 9am. Breakfast will be served daily at Keysor from 8:25-8:40. See the master schedule for your child’s lunchtime.
