CRT Luncheons
Keysor's 5th Grade Civil Rights Team welcomed Nancy Martin for an informative luncheon on Oct 29, 2007. Martin shared her experiences and thoughts about having abilities and disabilities.
Keysor Kids learned about the American with Disabilities Act and how it has impacted access for and equal treatment of people with disabilities.
Martin's infectious positive attitude was evident, even as she talked about the hurtful language she sometimes hears. She encouraged kids to stamp out the use of the "R-word."
