Where am I?

Brain Gym

Brain Gym® is a system developed by learning specialist Paul Dennison, Ph.D. in which simple, enjoyable physical movements are used to enhance our ability to learn, process information and respond to the world around us in an ease-filled, effective way.

How is Brain Gym® used at Keysor?

Brain Gym® movements are easily incorporated into classroom activities. Each Monday on morning announcements two of our Brainy Bunch team (UNBELIEVABLE Fourth Graders) explain and demonstrate one of the 26 basic brain gym exercises. Our Keysor kids then practice these movements in their classrooms and use them as they are personally needed. These Brain Gym® movements result in greater ease and effectiveness in all areas of academic endeavor, including reading comprehension, oral reading fluency, spelling, creative writing, math computation and problem solving, memory, accuracy, focus, and attention.
