Love and Logic
(January 28 & February 4)

This series covers the same topics as in the 5 week series but in a condensed version. (See below for description). We are able to offer these classes free thanks to St. Anthony’s Hospital. Out-of-district fee: $30/person
(April 12, 19, 26, May 3 & May 10)
5-Week Series –Thursdays - 7:00-9:00 pm
This is a five-part evening parenting class. Learn specific “how-to’s” for responsible parenting in an enjoyable atmosphere where parents can share how they have used their new skills to change their children’s behavior…sometimes almost overnight! The class focuses on early childhood but the techniques can be used for all age levels.
Classes are taught in the Kirkwood Early Childhood Center (100 N. Sappington rd., 63122). Please call the office at 314-213-6137 to sign up.
Picky Eaters/Nutrition - January 26, 6:30-7:30 pm.
Danielle Clapper, Dietitian with St. Anthony's Hospital, will be here to offer practical advice and guidance on how to present new foods to picky kids to meet their nutritional needs. It's time to make family meal time a more enjoyable experience for everyone!
Sleep/SIDS - February 7, 6:30-7:30 pm.
Jan Morlock, RN at St. Anthony's Hospital, will talk about the most recent recommendations on preventing SIDS. She is passionate about educating parents and grandparents to keep children safe when they are sleeping. Jan will also answer any sleep related questions about naps, bedtime routines, and general sleep questions.

This class originated in Brooklyn and now Laura Hays wants to offer it to you! Come enjoy a 45 minute musical experience with your baby, toddler, and/or preschooler. Each week will include experimenting with rhythm and song through shakers, sticks, scarves, and more. Music will include classics as well as original songs written by Laura and played on the ukulele. This class emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement and is not age specific. Siblings welcome!
Ages 0-5, Siblings under 6 months are free.
Classes are held at 9:15 and 10:15 Please specify which time you are signing up for, or if more than one time would work for you. All classes are taught on Fridays. $45 per session, $30 per sibling

Discovery Room schedule
Drop in anytime between 9:30-11:30 am and play in a stimulating environment offering a variety of imaginative and fun play areas for children birth to age 5. The Discovery Room will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The cost is $5 for your first child/ max $8 per familiy. Checks only please. Pre paid cards are available.
