Three Residents File for Two Positions on Kirkwood Board of Education

Three residents of the Kirkwood School District filed as candidates for the two positions open on the Kirkwood Board of Education. Each candidate filed by the Jan. 19, 2010 closing date. The school board election will be held on April 6, 2010.
In the order of their filing, the school board candidates are:
Angie Bay* - Des Peres MO 63131
Kathy A. Harris* - Kirkwood MO 63122
William (Bill) Bauer - Kirkwood MO 63122
*Bay and Harris are incumbents. Bay is seeking a third term and Harris is seeking her fourth. School board members serve three-year terms.
Community members are invited to meet the candidates at a candidate forum conducted by the St. Louis League of Women Voters on Monday, March 8, 2010, from 7 to 8 p.m. in the conference room at the district’s Administrative Services Center, 11289 Manchester Road.
