Reflection Ideas for Environment
These questions can be used in several different ways; any are fine. A class discussion could be held where students answer the questions, students can be divided into groups where they generate group answers then present their findings, students can be given the questions as a writing assignment in the form of a journal, or the questions could be used throughout the process to check in with students on a daily basis.
1. Do you feel that you are more involved with your community after completing this project?
2. What would have happened if your group had not completed this project?
3. Why is it important for people to be involved with their communities?
4. Describe a world without pollution.
5. Do you feel that adults in your community recognized your efforts and listened to you? What helped that?
6. Why is pollution prevention important?
7. Describe a world where there is massive pollution.
8. How did this unit help you to make good choices as an adult?
9. Set a pollution prevention goal for yourself-how will you achieve it now? As a teenager? As an adult?
10. Would you be interested in completing more service projects that improved your community in the future?
