Welcome to Mrs. Schowalter's Math class.
A Little About Me...
• I have been teaching for 20 years in the Kirkwood School District.
• I earned my undergrad from the University of MO - Columbia.
• I earned my master's, technology in education, from Fontbonne University
• I have two sons. One is going to be a junior in high school and the other is going into 2nd grade.
• My husband is a cartoonist and writer.
• Our cat's name is Edwin.
• Our dog's name is Molly.
• I love to solve problems, read, and laugh!

What you need to be successful:

• Yellow spiral notebook (Homework is done in our sprial when we start working out of the book).
• Yellow folder
• Pencil
To start, we will be working in math and science on metric measurement.
You will receive a booklet that you will be using in both classes. Bring the booklet to both math and science classes so that you are prepared for each class.

How To Access the Online Book
Here are the steps to be able to access the book from the website.
• Go to www.classzone.com
• Select Middle School Math and Missouri and then click go.
• The book is McDougal Littell Math Course 1.
• At the bottom of the page is an icon that says online book. Click the icon.
• You will want to create a student account.
• The activation code is 2511126 - 200
• Enter the student's birthdate.
• Fill out the student account information.
• Once your account has been created, you can access the online book.
