I am a person who loves words and stories and can’t wait to share their power with my students. I am a KHS graduate, so I have sat where you are sitting (perhaps, literally). I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Mizzou and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching degree from Washington University. Prior to teaching, I worked in marketing and PR and even helped develop fun educational products for children around the world via a French publisher. This is my 10th year teaching at KHS, and I love my job because I get to work with wonderful students who inspire me and make me laugh every day. I am married and have a 6-year-old daughter who is starting first grade at North Glendale. We are also adopting a little girl from China and hope to bring her home before you graduate from high school (or possibly college). In my free time, I love to read, travel and spend time with friends and family. I can’t wait to get to know you, too!
