Welcome to the Keysor Clinic. The clinic is staffed by a registered nurse from 8:00am to 3:45pm each school day. The nurse acts as a resource for students, staff and families with a child with certain health needs.
Treating your children here at Keysor is a privilege. I feel it is of great importance to have open lines of communication. Please feel free to call me at work or email me at the numbers listed above. Please also make sure that we have current telephone numbers to reach you or someone else that you have listed in case of sudden illness or emergency.
Our goal is to keep the children healthy, focused and prevent illness from spreading! HEALTHY STUDENTS ARE BETTER LEARNERS!
SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL NURSE: Promotion of healthy lifestyle; healthcare guidance to students & their families & staff;
Identifying health concerns by assessing/observation and providing appropriate care; medication management; verifying immunizations according to Missouri guidelines; vision and hearing screenings. As of now we do a vision screen, height and weight on every child. Special School district comes to Keysor and performs a hearing screen on grades K, 1, 3, 5 and all students in grade 2 and 4 who are new to the district.
