KHS Vocal Music Students selected to perform with Honors Choirs
Eight Kirkwood High School vocal music students were accepted into the
St. Louis Suburban Music Educators Association Honor Choir with seven of these students qualifying to audition for the All-State Choir as denoted by an asterisk next to their names.

KHS Senior selected to perform with Acclaimed American Kantorei Chorus and Orchestra
Susan Bay, senior at Kirkwood High School, has been accepted to perform with the American Kantorei Chorus and Orchestra, an internationally renowned music ensemble comprised of St. Louis’s finest professional singers and instrumentalists. Specializing in the music of Johann Sebastian Bach and his contemporaries, the ensemble also presents liturgical music ranging from the Middle Ages to the 21st Century. The group performs under the direction of conductor and artistic director Robert Bergt, who is considered to be one of the world’s leading authorities on the music of Bach.

The American Kantorei Chorus and Orchestra will present four concerts as part of the Bach at the Sem series performed on the Concordia Seminary campus in St. Louis. For more information about the American Kantorei and its performance schedule, visit www.csl.edu/CampusLife_Music_BachattheSem.aspx.
