Elementary School
CLASSES BEGIN SEPTEMBER 1-2
The elementary school strings program begins with fourth and fifth grade instruction and currently provides education for nearly 160 students. Instruction is offered in a before school setting in two 40-minute group lessons per week.
Keysor and Westchester students meet at North Middle School on Mondays and Thursdays; Robinson, North Glendale and Tillman students meet at Nipher Middle School on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Patrick Jackson directs fourth grade strings and Fariga Drayton directs fifth grade strings.
Fourth and fifth grade orchestra students who will attend Nipher Middle School for early morning music have class on Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30 - 8:15 a.m. The first class will begin on Friday, Sept. 3.
Fourth and fifth grade orchestra students who will attend North Middle School for early morning music have class on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30-8:15 a.m.
The first class will begin on Thursday, Sept. 2.
