Where am I?

Volunteer Opportunities

The orchestra program has several volunteer and fundraising needs these next few weeks. Funds generated from these activities will be used to award scholarships to Kirkwood orchestra students, pay accompanists and clinicians, and help support parent/student receptions throughout the year.

Orchestra Apparel

Order forms are now available.

A variety of t-shirts, hoodies, sweat pants, fleece and flannel pants items are available.  All feature one of several slogans, "Let Us String You Along," "I Taught Them Everything They Know" (features photo of Mr. Jackson), and others with just the word "Orchestra."

Greentree Book Fair

Elementary, Middle and High School Parent Volunteers Needed

We will need many orchestra parent volunteers to work the Greentree Book Fair Sept. 16-18 at Kirkwood Park. Book Fair set-up is scheduled for Sept. 14-15. This event is the main fundraiser for the Kirkwood orchestra and band programs and it requires tons of volunteer hours from the orchestra and band families to set it up and sell the books. It is fun and easy... and we need you! Please watch your email near the end of August for sign-up information! If you have any questions, just call or email Toni Moll: 314-961-9924/tonimoll@aol.com.

Attention All Shoppers!

If you don't have your Escrip card yet to use while shopping at Schnucks, KOPA has them available for you. If you already use your Escrip card while shopping, please remember to go online to escrip.com and choose KOPA as a recipient for the funds you help raise. This is a super easy way for KOPA to make some of the money we will use to benefit all of the orchestra students in grades 4 through 12. KOPA will have new cards available at the Elementary Parent Information Meeting on Aug. 22, as well as all future orchestra open houses and concerts.

Annual High School Orchestra BBQ

The annual barbecue for the high school orchestra students is set for 3:00 PM on Sunday, Sept. 11 at Kirkwood Park. The event will be held in the same spot as previous years -- the first high school picnic tables closest to the amphitheater.
