INSTRUMENT MUSIC PROGRAM
Students develop an aptitude in dynamics, form, harmony, melody, rhythm/meter, tone production and intonation.
The goal of the instrumental music program is to offer students a life-long appreciation of music and the opportunity to improve as individual performers by sharing their talents with others through public performance and participation in music festivals.
Kirkwood music students, by any legitimate comparison at local and district performances or festivals, are typically among the highest rated.
