Welcome!
Homework
-Students are highly encouraged to complete the homework the night it is assigned.
-All homework should please be completed in a graph paper notebook or graph paper spiral.
-Students should please write the problem out (unless it is a word problem) and show work to explain how they solved it. Please refer to the homework models that were provided during the 1st week of school.
-Students should please attempt all homework problems.
-Class time is set aside daily to go over and discuss homework questions and concerns.
Quizzes
-Quizzes like homework are practice for the summative assessments (tests).
-Quizzes do not count in your child's final grade.
Test Retakes
-Students are asked to retake any test that they scored less than a "3"
-Students need to 1st complete the CRT (Correction, Reflection, and Ticket to Retake)
*Students correct their ENTIRE test on the test or on a separate piece of paper - they are encouraged to ask for help when correcting their test if needed.
*The ticket to retake is not the retake but practice for the retake.
-Once the CRT is completed students need to please come in at lunch or stay after school to retake their test.
